Our optical service department offers both field and in-house service and repair on all our hardness testing systems, microscopes, and metallographs. Services include preventive maintenance, alignment, adjustment, and repair. Our staff of qualified service specialists are available to offer advice and answer your questions regarding instrument usage and the requirements of various standards.
Calibrations from our optical service department comply with the requirements of ISO Standard 17025 and applicable ASTM standards. The department is accredited by the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA) under certificate number 1845.01.
The scope of this accreditation includes the calibration of: microindentation, Rockwell-type, Macro-Vickers hardness testing systems, and metallographs/microscope reticles and magnifications.
